The Marais neighbourhood is also home to many museums: The Picasso Museum, the Musée Carnavalet, the European House of Photography and sites such as the Bastille (with its excellent produce market), L'Ile Saint Louis, Notre Dame, the Centre Georges Pompidou museum and the River Seine. All are just a few minutes away! From this incredible neighborhood you can walk to so many Parisian sites, gardens and museums, and if public transportation is your choice, there are many metro lines and buses that come through the area.
